The two amendments would allow schools to offer certain portions of the barber curriculum through online classes. (There are temporary rules currently in place to allow online classes, but these amendments would make a permanent allowance.) Rule 06F .0120 specifies the number of hours that schools can offer online. Rule 06F .0124 exempts online classes from counting toward the limitations on off-campus instruction.
